White River Natural Foods LLC, which operated under the DBA Eureka Market, has been successfully sold in an asset sale to local investor Sativa Trimble. The transaction, which closed on August 30, 2024, was facilitated by Charles Olson, Holden Buckner, and the client services team at IAG. This sale ensures that Eureka Market, a long-standing fixture in the community, will continue under new ownership.
A Strategic Acquisition for a Local Buyer
White River Natural Foods, known for offering health foods, vitamin supplements, and fresh market goods, has been a beloved part of the Eureka Springs community for years. However, financial challenges prompted the seller, Sam Albert J. Kirk Jr., to seek a buyer. After marketing the business, a local buyer, Sativa Trimble, expressed interest. Trimble had deep ties to the area and saw the acquisition as a perfect fit for her vision.
Navigating Offers and Closing the Deal
Negotiations included an offer from another buyer with plans to change the store’s identity. Ultimately, Kirk chose to proceed with Trimble, valuing her local ties and commitment to preserving the market’s character. The deal closed quickly, with all parties meeting at the seller’s bank to finalize the transaction.
The sale concluded smoothly, with both the seller and buyer satisfied with the outcome. Under Trimble’s ownership, Eureka Market is poised to continue its role as a vital part of the Eureka Springs community.
